1. Purpose of EriHeroes

EriHeroes is a community-maintained digital archive dedicated to preserving the memory of Eritrean heroes, martyrs, freedom fighters, civilians, and diaspora contributors. By using this platform, you agree to contribute to and maintain its dignity, historical accuracy, and respectful tone.

2. Contributions

By submitting information to EriHeroes, you confirm that:

• You have reasonable grounds to believe the information is accurate.
• You are not submitting content that is defamatory, fabricated, or intended to harm.
• You grant EriHeroes a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, preserve, and share the contribution.
• You understand all contributions are reviewed before publication.

3. Memorial Features

The rose and candle memorial features are symbolic acts of remembrance. Each registered user may give one rose and light one candle per hero profile. These actions are not reversible. Guest contributions are subject to the same limits and may be tracked by anonymized IP address.

4. Content Standards

All submitted content must be respectful and relevant to historical documentation. Content that promotes division, hate, political propaganda, or contains graphic material will be removed and may result in account suspension.

5. Guest Contributions

Guests may submit up to 5 contributions without registering. After reaching this limit, registration is required to continue contributing. Guest submissions are subject to all the same content standards and review processes as registered contributor submissions.

6. Privacy

Contributor identity can be set to anonymous, nickname-only, or private. We respect your choice regarding how your name appears publicly. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

7. Moderation

EriHeroes reserves the right to review, edit, withhold, or remove any content that does not meet our standards. Decisions by the moderation team are final. You may appeal a decision by contacting us through the contact page.

8. Accuracy and Corrections

While we strive for historical accuracy, EriHeroes cannot guarantee the correctness of all information in the archive. If you believe information is inaccurate, please use the "Suggest a Correction" feature on the relevant profile or contact us directly.

9. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of EriHeroes after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will note the date of the most recent update at the top of this page.
